About Taekwondo Happiness

Taekwondo is one of my first loves, even when my skeleton tells me “dream on” in the form of back problems.  After taking a 7 year break, I resumed training around the time that I started this blog.  Though I’m behind my peers and I routinely get my butt kicked, I couldn’t be happier.  During this journey, I’m rediscovering the lifestyle behind Taekwondo, our philosophies and maybe just a little wisdom.

My main goal is to create content for every sort of reader: tips for the seasoned martial artists, thoughts for beginners, philsosphy for non-martial artists, and health for everyone.  Taekwondo Happiness should be a forum where all visitors are equal and all guests should feel welcomed to share their points of view.  It doesn’t matter what rank you are, we all have a little insight!

About RL David

I’m the writer, heart and soul behind this project.  I’ve been training in Taekwondo on-and-off for years, but have been known to dabble in Judo, Hapkido, and straight-up self defense.  When I’m not beating my brains out in the dojang, I pursue English and German degrees at my university.  I enjoy blogging and freelance writing, with an end-goal of getting some steady writing gigs.
